Yeah, so.... biggest problem with knowing about this place is how much thinner my wallet will be now.
Having this Legit Japanese sushi bar so close to my house is dangerous.
I now will think of it every time someone says, "let's get sushi!" Then it will be a question of how much do we want real sushi. If you are looking for big fat rolls with sweet sauce and mayo used to mask sub par fish these are not the droids your looking for... move along... move along...
No I think this place makes rolls as an appeasement for those that would be disappointed if they didn't. Dragon, Rainbow is about as far as it goes on that front and yes even those are super good.
Blue crab, Uni, Toro... they are not messing around here. I believe they even have fresh wasabi. I forgot to inquire about that so don't quote me on that.
Either way if you know what an authentic Japanese hole in the wall Sushi place is supposed to smell sound and look like... look no further. You found it. -

Very bad experiences with service.
Ok, I went there with my mom and 2 years old tot.
It was around 1:30 ish and 3 tables were empty.
My kid fell asleep while we were waiting, so put him in the stroller. Server came to us and asked if I can take out the carseat only. I said I can't because this is not a infant carseat, this is a stroller carseat which is not for taking out separately. (It doesnt stay by itself like infant carseat). So I explained and the waitress went inside to ask.
For a while, she didn't show up and my mom went inside to see if they were finished discussing.
They were hesitating and mom told them that we will just seat at the this table of 4people,since it is almost closing time for lunch.
We put our stroller along the table and seat right next each other. Ordered sushi and sashimi combo and assorted sushi lunch special.
When she took an order, she told us that usually they don't let stroller be inside. Carseat Only.
I was like.. Didn't I just fully explained to you what's the difference between infant carseat and carseat? (I didn't say this to her, though)
Well, I get it. It was a small restaurant and lunch time. But there were plenty of spaces to park the stroller and lunch time was almost over, many customers were about to leave. Baby was sleeping quietly. We were just going to eat and leave before the lunch time over. I yelped this restaurant before we go and it says good for kids with stroller icon with.
Really? I don't think so!
And did she really had to tell me that when they were taking an order? They should've said that after we're done eating or so. I was not happy at all and feel little embarrassed while I was having food.
Sushi was good but their poor services messed up my day and made me not finishing food.
I left 15% tips for the food, NOT for the service.
NEVER going back to this place.
NOT Recommending for those who brings Kids. -

Me and the girls decided this place was worthy of a try as I'm kinda in search for a place with a good Unagi Bowl.
Met here at noon, and that was probably a mistake, as this place is small and apparently very popular. We put our name on the waitlist, 3rd on the list, figured it would go quickly ... WRONG! After waiting for about 30 min, we were finally seated. We quickly perused the menu and ordered as quickly as we could. I, of course, had the Una Ju, the girls had the White Fish special and Chirashi bowl, respectively. We decided to try the appetizers and went with Tempura and Geso Age (aka fried squid legs).
Both appetizers tasted great and were very fresh.
The Una Ju was served in a box with rice. The unagi was cooked perfectly with just enough teriyaki sauce. I was quite pleased with it.
I was told that the fried fish was very good and my other daughter raved about the quality of fish in her Chirashi bowl. Since she didn't use her Wasabi, I used it with my Unagi and man that really packed a powerful kick! I should add that each plate we ordered included Miso soup and a side salad.
After finishing our meal, we ordered up some desserts, Green Tea ice cream for the girls and some Green Tea Cheesecake for me. They both said their ice cream was really good. My cheesecake was also very good, nice and firm just the way I prefer cheesecake. My only beef was that the serving was soooo small! But it was BOMB!
The food was definitely 5 star, but that long wait dragged it down to 4 total. Hopefully next time we get there right when they open to avoid that wait. Definitely on my list of places to return to. -

I came here for lunch today with my sister and dad. We arrived around noon and had to wait about 30-45 minutes to be seated.
I tried the Geso Age ($7.75), Tempura ($5.95), and Chirashi bowl ($18.95), while my dad and sister ordered the Una Ju ($15.95), and some fried fish special. The Geso Age (deep fried squid legs) was quite tasty, while the Tempura which came with both shrimp and veggies was pretty average. The Chirashi Bowl consisted of great quality fish, especially the tuna! It was some of the best tuna I have tasted. I tried a bit of the other entrees and thought they were good as well.
For dessert, we had Green Tea Ice Cream ($2.50) and a Green Tea Cheesecake slice ($3.25). The ice cream was superb and had a very strong flavor. The cheesecake was nice and firm, however the portion was quite small.
I'm going with 4 stars because of the small interior and limited seating for customers waiting to get a table. Next time I visit, I'm coming at 11:30 a.m. sharp to avoid the wait, maybe even earlier. -

Really a good one. Omakase is affordable for everyone I guess Lol!! FYI: make sure to make appointment before you go, otherwise at least 45mins waiting.
